Hello
Many of Jesus’ teachings show him telling his followers to go out into the community. He selected some of his disciples to go out into the community and teach repentance and the good news of the Kingdom of God (Mark 6:7-13; Matthew 10:5-23; Luke 9:1-5; Luke 10:1-9). He told his followers to go and make new disciples (Matthew 28:19). He also told his followers to pray that his Father would send out workers to gather the harvest (Matthew 9:38; Luke 10:2). So, Jesus wants his followers to go out and tell others what it is like to love him and be loved by him.
The devil wants us to stay in our churches, where we feel comfortable and where we hope that others will come to our church and join us.
We will do the devil little harm if we stay in our churches.
May our loving heavenly Father bless us and guide us as we do the work he wants us to do.
Jesus is Lord.
Peter O
