Hello
Many of Jesus’ teachings show him telling his followers to go out into the community. He selected some of his disciples to go out into the community and teach repentance and the good news of the Kingdom of God (Mark 6:7-13; Matthew 10:5-23; Luke 9:1-5; Luke 10:1-9). He told his followers to go and make new disciples and teach them to obey his commands (Matthew 28:19-20). He also told his followers to pray that his Father would send out workers to gather the harvest (Matthew 9:38; Luke 10:2). So, Jesus wants his followers to go out and tell others what it is like to love him and be loved by him.
The devil wants us to stay in our churches, where we feel comfortable and where we hope that others will come to our church and join us.
We will do the devil little harm if we stay in our churches.
May our loving heavenly Father bless us and guide us as we do the work he truly wants us to do.
Jesus is Lord.

How simply true this is!
Every farmer knows if the seed stays in the barn there will be no harvest. He could awake every morning and pray for God to bless the coming harvest. He could walk his fields rebuking the destroyer, the pests and bad weather, all the while boldly claiming a bountiful harvest. But there will not be a harvest, unless he plants the seed into the soil.
In the Kingdom of God, the seed is the Word of Christ. We are the farmer. Our neighborhood, town and surrounding area is our field. It is us who must plant that seed in the minds and hearts of our neighbors or there will not be a coming harvest.
The following four “seed planting” methods are very practical, affordable and doable. They do not require silver tongued evangelists and apologists nor highly trained leaders.
